The National Urban League Conference is the assembly of Urban League leaders, board members, staff members and others in the corporate, government, community, and non-profit sectors to discuss critical issues facing the African American Community. Numerous prospects exist for recruiting, networking, and augmenting partnerships and initiatives.
The Diversity Job Fair is a "featured" part of the 2008 National Urban League Conference. The Career Fair is open to the registered attendees of the Conference as well as professional candidates from the Greater Orlando Area.
Recruiters purchasing the NUL Diversity Career Fair will also have access to the NUL Conference Database. This is one of America's premier diversity recruiting events. Don't miss out on this exceptional opportunity to promote diversity and recruit qualified and experienced candidates.

Event Overview: The Diversity Job Fair is free and open to anyone ages 21 and older regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, etc.

Whether you're an active job seeker or just curious, you may discover a career opportunity just right for you.
Follow these tips to maximize your job fair success!
-
Bring resumes, as well as, a pen and a notepad.
-
Dress professionally (conservative business suit, comfortable dress shoes, etc.).
-
Your introduction is your initial interview.
-
When you meet a recruiter, be friendly, confident, and assertive. Give a firm handshake while introducing yourself.
-
Practice a 45-60 second personal advertisement to communicate your strengths and goals. Speak clearly and make eye contact.
-
The Job Fair is setup like an open house trade show. You may walk through and speak with the recruiters you choose.
-
Use the program guide you will receive at the event to learn more about the participating companies and job openings.
-
Ask for business cards when you speak with recruiters. Send personal thank you notes via email after the event, and make follow-up calls to schedule an interview.
Who can attend the Professional Diversity Job Fair? All our events are diverse and multicultural which means they are open to all. Employers are interested in your background and experience. By participating, employers are extending their welcome to candidates from all types of backgrounds. Most will require US Citizenship.
How is the Job Fair set up? The PSI Job Fair is an “open house” trade show environment. Each employer recruits from its own 8’ X 10’ booth space. As an “open house’ you can attend any time during the published hours and talk with only the employers you choose.
Don't keep this to yourself! Feel free to bring a friend!
