As candidates and employers become increasingly aware of diversity in the working world, a clear relationship emerges between how the companies that are understood to embrace diversity are the same companies that push ahead each year in popularity as “ideal employers”.
To assist employers in reaching their diversity goals PSI and the NAACP have produced a series of targeted recruiting events entitled the “NAACP Professional & Executive Diversity Job Fair” targeting candidates with a minimum 4-year degree or above.
The NAACP Professional & Executive Diversity Job Fair has become the nation’s most respected and successful diversity recruiting event for degreed candidates. The event targets degreed candidates in all pre-publicity and all candidates are pre-screened at the door. The event has averaged over 1500 candidates and over 40 employers.
Today the PSI Executive Diversity Job Fair is the preferred event of many of America’s premier employers.
Candidate Demographics:
- 85% minority attendance
- All candidates are pre-screened for a 4yr degree or better
- Nearly 1 out of every 3 candidates has a masters degree or better
- 35% are bilingual
- 31% have government work experience
- 56% are curious about better opportunities and dissatisfied with their current job or looking for a career change
- 75% of all candidates are willing to travel
